Hey! It's Tiffany. I can't belive that it's already Halloween week, can you? Goodness, I guess I'd better get to posting my latest hybrid project... Have you uploaded any of your hybrid projects to the Design House Digital gallery? Check out mine if you need a little inspiration, or look back through our first week of October hybrid project a day. You've only got a few days left to enter the Deena Rutter Hybrid Halloween contest. so get those projects posted and linked so you can WIN!!
for this project I used a grapevine wreath. Mine was Oval-shaped. I got it at Joann's for $2 a few months back, waiting for the perfect season... FALL! I first added my burlap rosettes to my wreath. Each rosette is adorned with some brads from Deena's Blackbird collection with My Mind's Eye. I used the more versitle brads so i can change out my plate for thanksgiving, possibly?
I used the cat cutting file from Deena's Superstition D-cut pack (Design House Digital) and a basic C (either for my last name, or cat... either one.) I adhered them to the plate, glued a strip of burlap to the back of the plate and tied it to the top of my wreath. Nothing crazy-fancy, but it sure makes my front door look cute.
Happy crafting!!
