Hey!! Tiffany here! Happy Wednesday! Well, it's official. My valentine's flowers have come and gone and my kitchen table was in need of something. I decided my little house was in need of some SPRING colors. What better to use than my stack of Deena's Penny Lane fabric from Riley Blake. Do you have yours yet? My goodness. So cute! Ok, back to the flowers. I remember seeing a tutorial a while back with some cute flowers by Dana of Made. I knew I had to make them, I've just been waiting for, well, the perfect fabric. Perfect Fabric? check. So, using Dana's tutorial found here, I got to work.
I started by painting my dowel sticks a pale green color to match my fabric. Then, I picked out a few of my favorite prints. It looks like my flowers are a little more more full, I generally used half of the width of the fabric. I kind of played around with them. I wanted them to be a little different, depending on the flower.I finished up by pouring some rice into my cute little white mug before placing my flowers.
Perfect. I'm loving my little table centerpiece. Can you sense the theme? I made a pedestal birdhouse, mini little bird's nest, and a plate stand with a beautiful antique dish (my great grandmothers), all placed on top of an antique doily (also from my great grandmother). Now, if spring would just come outside my house.

Awesome post. I have a coffee cup a friend gave me for Christmas. It's so pretty I don't use it but have it set on a shelf. Today I was looking at it thinking it needed some flowers, these are perfect!
