Well, it's 2008. This holiday flew by for me. Christmas decorations barely got up this year and now they are down. I have got to admit I like how clean my house looks without the tree and extra stuff on the shelves, but of course I miss the special feeling that only comes this time of year. We had fun ice skating and going to a hockey tournament in Boise, Idaho.
My present this year was a new Honda Odyssey with a DVD entertainment package. The trip to Idaho was the maiden voyage for "BLACKIE CHAN" (my kids named it that because it's black and they say it has cool moves like Jackie Chan). This is the first trip I didn't end up with a kink in my neck from turning around to help my kids with something. They watched their shows and we listened to our music. It was sweet.
Once the holiday is over and I pick back up with life, I sometimes forget to appreciate all that was done for me during the holidays. I am determined NOT to do that this year. I am going to have a year of appreciation. Here is the "almost complete thank you note" that I am sending out this year. Hopefully you will find it useful to get those "thank you's" out...and they are easy enough for your kids to use, too. Just click on the download link then right click and save image. I made the download 2 on a sheet to fit 4.5x6.25 envelopes. Happy "thanks-giving" and Happy New Year!
Thank you for the thank you card! Happy new year.

Soo creative aren't you! And how fun, a car...I feel ya!
When do you want to get together and how much would it be to order some baby invites from you for Justin's wife's baby?
